Singapore Sling

I was deleting some old pictures from my all my trips this summer and I came across this one. The Singapore Sling is the national cocktail of Singapore and let me tell you, they are delicious! The best place to drink a Singapore Sling is at the Raffles Hotel where the cocktail is said to have been invented. It was such a hot day when my sister and I were walking around the city, I think that’s part of the reason we enjoyed this so much. The Singapore Sling is basically a mixture of brandy, rum, and pineapple juice, grenadine is also added to the mix for color. This is one of those cocktails you could drink all day and not feel a thing, until you try to get up from your seat. The Raffles Hotel charges around $20 USD per drink, so you’re better off to try one then move onto something else.
